Cherry Cherry Burst
CC44Si is an acoustic-electric model from Ovation`s iDea series, named after the advanced iDea preamps, which are being built onto it`s models. CC44Si features Ovation`s hallmark composite bowl instead of wooden back and side panels. Top is made of spruce and it is bound in splendid abalone binding. It is available in Cherry Cherry Burst color option with high gloss polish finish. Instead of a regular central sound hole, Ovations mostly feature multiple offset sound holes of smaller diameter. Special feature of these sound holes are wooden epaulettes. Bridge section is equipped with walnut bridge. Ovation slimline pickup is combined with the iDea preamp to form the electronics section. V-shaped maple neck is set and topped with 20 fret ebony fingerboard. Golden hardware and 25-1/4" scale complete the list of specs.
