Standard Elite series, as it`s name says is a standard for luxurious guitars in terms of material selection and quality, playability and tone. One of the special features of this series are super shallow bowls in the back. This feature is very convenient for on-stage performers, for guitar feels like an electric, but plays like an acoustic. Body of this particular model, the 6868AX is made of a shallow composite bowl in the back and spruce sound board on top. Top panel features white binding and two groups of small offset sound holes. Bridge section features belly-shaped rosewood bridge. Hardware is plated in chrome and scale is standard 25-1/4" long. Neck is made of mahogany, it`s set in and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
