1627 LTD-4 is a model with only 50 copies to be built. Each copy will be numbered in consecutive numbers and signed by Glenn Campbell. Glenn`s signature is laid out in gold pearl and positioned at the top of the headstock. With every guitar purchased, a signed copy of Glenn`s "ghost on the Canvas" is given. 1627 LTD-4 starts off with an original shallow body contour of the Balladeer series and a solid spruce top. The top is bound in black binding and features a single, central sound hole with an ornate rosette. The only color available is natural with glossy finish. The bridge is made of walnut and has a belly shape with a belly shape and white saddle. Pickup department is occupied by an Ovation High Output under-saddle pickup. It is controlled by shoulder-mounted volume and tone knobs, very similar to those found on solid bodied electric guitars. The neck is made of five pieces of mahogany and maple with a dovetail joint positioned at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of deluxe grade ebony and equipped with 20 frets with diamond position inlays. Other features on 1627 LTD-4 include: gold plated Ovation tuning machines, 25-1/4" scale and Ovation A bracing.
