XC1T Ellipse is a grand auditorium guitar with Fishman electronics. This single-cut acoustic-electric is equipped with Fishman`s Ellipse system. Grand auditorium body is made of satinwood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. This combination is reminiscent of the maple/spruce pair with added punch similar to the woods of the acacia family. Top panel is equipped with natural binding and modern sound hole rosette. Bridge section is equipped with an ebony bridge, which signifies high class in Martin catalog. It`s equipped with a plastic saddle. This bridge is matched with an ebony fingerboard with 1.6875" corian nut. The scale between the saddle and nut measures full 25-1/2". Neck is made of natural stratabond and it`s equipped with a low profile contour in the back.
