OMJM John Mayer is a model from the Special Editions series in Martin Guitars catalog. It comes with an orchestra model body contour and quality electronics. Amplification department is equipped with Martin`s own Gold Plus Natural set, which includes a piezo pickup and side-mounted preamp. Top panel of this model is equipped with ivoroid binding, tortoise shell pickguard and multiple rosette. This model is available in natural color, it is the only color scheme assigned by the manufacturer and it`s finished in combination of gloss and satin. Neck is made of hardwood and it`s attached to the body with a mortise & tenon joint. Also, it features low profile contour and satin finish. It is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Hardware on this model is plated in nickel.
