Special Editions series has a special place within the Martin catalog, as it is the home of every model which could not be fitted into any of the regular series. These are not necessarily ultra expensive guitars. OMCE Mahogany is placed within this series and it features orchestra model shape with single cutaway construction. It comes with back and sides made of mahogany, while the top is traditionally made of spruce. Top features ivoroid binding, tortoise shell pickguard and multiple rosette. Bridge section is equipped with belly-shaped bridge made of black richlite. In the electronics area, OMCE Mahogany features MiSi Jack. The neck is made of mahogany and it comes with an oval contour. Fingerboard upon this neck is made of black richlite and equipped with 20 dot-covered frets.
