X series from Martin is the most numerous and it also contains some of the cheapest guitars with Martin logo. DX1KAE Left Handed is a model from this series and it comes with a dreadnought shaped body with single cutaway design. Back and sides on this model are made of high pressure laminated koa veneers, while the top is made of high pressure laminated spruce veneers. Top on this model is finished in gloss and equipped with tortoise shell pickguard. Also, the sound hole features a single circle rosette. Bridge section on this X series dreadnought comes with a belly shape and it`s made of black richlite. Natural stratabond neck is equipped with oval contour and topped with black richlite fingerboard. 20 frets, 16" radius and 1-11/16" wide corian nut complete the fingerboard.
