DC-16 OGTE is a model that belongs to the famous 16 series made by Martin Guitars. This series contains a multitude of models with high quality appointments. This particular model is an acoustic-electric dreadnought with single cut body. Electronics installed on this one include Roland`s AP-1 system. Body of this steel-stringer is made of ovangkol and rosewood combined on the sides and in the back with spruce sound board on top. Smooth and strong tone with powerful low end is the result of having this combination of tone woods. Neck is made of hardwood, it ha s oval contour and mortise & tenon joint. It is topped with a regular 20-fret fingerboard made of black micarta; it has dot inlays, 1.75" wide corian nut and 16" radius.
