The original AC175 first appeared back in 1994, and was Carvin Custom Shop`s first ever acoustic-electric guitar. Today, it is a member of a growing line of Kiesel acoustic-electrics, being sort of a standard, benchmark model. Semi-hollow construction w/neck running through the body, hybrid electronics and 24-fret fingerboard make AC175 one of the most interesting crossover electro-acoustic guitars out there.
AC175 Thinline starts at $999 and the basic price covers mahogany body, AAA spruce sound board (quilt maple top & headstock displayed), mahogany neck and 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Other major stock features of this magnificent hybrid include a fixed ebony acoustic bridge w/TUSQ saddle, LR Baggs ribbon acoustic pickup with volume and 2-band EQ pots and a set of locking Kiesel tuners.
