Grand auditorium is a medium-sized body contour for acoustic guitars and it is also one of the youngest. It was pioneered by Taylor to suit the players who found dread and jumbo too big, but were not excited about parlors. Quickly after the launch, other major manufacturers came up with their own models in the same size and thus the grand auditorium became one of the standard industry contours. Johnson Guitars have their own spin on the GA tale with JG-430, an affordable, single cut guitar with quality electronics. This one comes with a body made entirely of whitewood. Neck is made of nato wood and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Dot position inlays and 1-11/16" plastic string nut complete the fingerboard.
