JD-07 is a model from the Songwriter II series made by Johnson Guitars from Yuma, Arizona. This brand maintains a moderate-sized catalog with both electric and acoustic sections with decent quality and versatility. JD-07 is a non-cutaway dreadnought, a model one step above the series opener, JD-06. Instead of mahogany-spruce, 07 features rosewood-spruce combination. Spruce top is a solid one. It`s equipped with creme binding, tortoise shell pickguard and single circle rosette. Natural color is the only one available and this model is finished in gloss. Johnson does not install electronics on this model. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a regular belly contour. Neck is made of mahogany, it`s attached to the body with a 14th fret joint and it`s topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
