Jasmine and Takamine have the same relationship as Ovation and Applause. Jasmine, as Applause, is a subsidiary brand of much larger and popular brand, in this case Takamine. Several series constitute the Jasmine catalog and among them is a series named Guitars With Hardshell Cases. S36 is one of it`s models and it comes with a dreadnought-shaped body with non-cutaway construction. Back and side panels on this model are made of lacewood, while the top is made of spruce. Top panel features black binding and glossy finish. Bridge section on this model is made up of a belly shaped rosewood bridge. There are no electronics featured on this model. Neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint and topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 20 dot covered frets.
