AJA-D-230SM is the second dreadnought of three currently in production at Jarrell guitars. It comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought body made of African mahogany back and sides with a solid Engelmann spruce top. Both the back and top are bound in grained ivoroid binding. The top also features a tortoise pickguard and vintage-styled sound hole rosette. The bridge on this dreadnought comes with a classic belly shape and a bone saddle. Fully scalloped forward X bracing pattern is applied to this model, as well as all other Jarrell acoustic models. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it comes with a standard set of 20 frets, white dot position inlays and bone string nut. Wilkinson tuners wrap the specs list.
