PF series is a lot smaller than the Artwood range, but it strongly holds it`s own ground on the market. PF models are usually found in the lower intermediate and intermediate sections of the market and new models introduced for 2014 do not step away from these classes. PF15ECE is one of two acoustic-electric models introduced at 2014 NAMM. It comes with a dreadnought body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on the top. This classic combo is present all over the acoustic and acoustic-electric segments of Ibanez catalog, as well as around the market. It is one of the most popular tonewood combinations ever. Three color options are available for this model: Natural, Black and Transparent Blue Sunburst. All three are finished in gloss and fit with chrome hardware. Electronics are completely made by Ibanez. Under-saddle pickup is Ibanez, as is the AEQ2T side-mounted preamp. Neck on this lower intermediate six-stringer is made of mahogany (also one of the most standard tonewood options in Ibanez catalog). It rocks the classic 14th fret dovetail joint in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
