Dark Violin Sunburst
GA35TCE is a brand new acoustic-electric guitar introduced into the Classical series of Ibanez catalog. It was introduced at the NAMM show this January along with three other classical guitars. This one is by far the most elegant and has the finest features. It comes with a single-cut classical body with thin contour. Construction-wise, this nylon-stringer features a dovetail joint between the body and neck. Back and side panels of the body are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. This combo is more common for nylon-stringed guitars, but in recent years has become quite common for nylon-string guitars, as well. This model is only available in Dark Violin Sunburst with high gloss finish. neck is made of mahogany and it features a 14th fret joint, which is also a feature taken over from the steel-string guitars. On top, there`s a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Electronics section includes Ibanez under-saddle pickup and Ibanez AEQ210T preamp.

Bought it a week ago. Great fit for large hands. Fretboard is wider than steel string acoustics & electrics but, smaller than the average classical. Took to it quickly & now my other guitar fretboards feel cramped. Exceptionally light. Good action. Warm sound. Electronics are great for their purpose. Tuner works good. Thin body is more comfortable than typical dreadnought style. Finish is excellent. I went shopping for a black guitar and liked the color scheme so much I bought the violin sunburst. I tried many classical guitars before purchasing this and I think I'll be happy for a long time.
