Natural High Gloss
AE245JR completes the 2018 lineup of the mighty and luxurious AE series. It is the most affordable model, and the only one with a short scale (only 23.9" long). Visually and specs-wise, the JR takes up after the full-sized AE245, sporting the same tonewoods, hardware, and electronics. The color palette is restricted to Open Pore Natural (w/chrome-plated hardware, black plastics, black/abalone binding, tortoise pickguard, multi-circle rosette). Main construction features include a single-cut AE body (mahogany back/sides/top, black binding, tortoise pickguard), a mahogany neck (14th fret dovetail joint, satin finish, AE contour), a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard (1.69" wide bone nut, 23.9" scale, 15.75" radius), an ovangkol bridge (bone saddle, black pins), Ibanez T-Bar pickup (w/external preamp unit), and die-cast tuners.
