Elfdalia series is named after the Alvdalen county (the place where Hagstrom Guitars come from) and its creed states "dynamic & harmonious". The current second generation lists two models, one dread and one grand auditorium. The hallmark of this series is the focus on mahogany/cedar bodies. Elfdalia II Grand Auditorium CE is a flat-top guitar with single-cut design. Mahogany back and sides and solid cedar sound board form a compact-sized body with great projection and sustain. Mahogany neck is attached at the 14th fret and features a 20-fret resinator fingerboard on top (medium jumbo frets, 15" radius, pearloid inlays). Fishman`s Isys+ preamp and Sonicore under-saddle pickup make up the electronics unit. Grand Auditorium CE also features a resinator bridge and Hagstrom die-cast tuners.
