Goldtone is respected among the manufacturers of stringed instruments as the brand which delivers huge value for the money invested. Their focus is on folk steel-stringed instruments such as banjos, mandolins and resonators. PBS-M is a resonator guitar which comes with standard non-cutaway shaped body. Splendid Wine Red Burst is this model`s only color option and it is finished in gloss. Back and side panels are made of mahogany and are matched with mahogany top. The top also sports a metal resonator cap with integrated bridge. Two smaller offset holes are also covered with metal caps. This resonator is fully acoustic, as Goldtone luthiers decided not to install any electronics on it. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a fat contour. Ebony fingerboard has 19 frets with white dot position inlays.
