Goldtone is a brand oriented towards the traditional and folk instruments. Their catalog is made up of acoustic and acoustic-electric models of resonators, banjos, mandolins and basses. PBR is a resonator model which comes with a standard non-cutaway shape and rounded neck contour. Body is made of mahogany back and sides with maple top panel. Top is equipped with metal resonator cone. Top is bound in creme binding and finished in gloss. Due to it`s specific design, there are no pickguards or rosettes. Resonator cone also carries the bridge. Bridge is fixed, made of the same material as resonator cone and paired with metal trapezoid tailpiece. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with rosewood fingerboard. Standard 19 frets, dot position inlays and 1.69" wide bone nut complete the specs list.
