Paramount series is a brand new line of acoustic-electric guitars by Fender. It was introduced at this year`s NAMM and its models are the only acoustics unveiled at the show. Six models make up the initial roster, two dreads, two parlors and two triple-0s. Each of the body shapes comes in Deluxe and Standard variant. Deluxe models have fancier bindings and inlays, ebony fingerboards and ebony bridges. Standards have rosewood parts instead of ebony. Other than that, they`re the same. They have the same tonewoods (body and neck), same electronics (Fishman/Fender) and the same hardware.
PM-2 Deluxe Parlor is a non-cutaway guitar with a classic Parlor body, glued in neck (14th fret dovetail joint), vintage styling and modern construction. The body of this sweet, sweet parlor is made of solid mahogany (back and sides) and solid spruce (sound board). The C-shaped neck is topped with a 19-fret fingerboard (1.75" bone nut, 15-3/4" radius).
Standard piezo pickup under the saddle and Fishman preamp on the side comprise the electronics unit. The preamp boasts volume, bass, treble, phase and tuner. Compensated ebony bridge and aged nickel tuners complete the specs list.
