John 5 is one of the busiest bees in the music industry hive. Only a handful of guitarists have worked with so many top class artists, and in so many genres of pop, rock, blues and metal styles. But, most of all, John 5 is known for his collaboration with the industrial metal legends - Marilyn Manson (John 5 got the nickname during his tenure with the Marilyn Manson band). His signature series in Fender catalog encompasses both the electric and acoustic models. J5 Acoustic is the name of his only acoustic signature model. It comes with a single-cut folk body made of laminated mahogany (back and sides) and solid spruce (top). Fishman piezo pickup and preamp form the electronics unit. Mahogany neck is attached at the 14th fret and topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
