Fender`s Alternative series is a small line of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars, made with beginners and inexperienced players in mind. The current lineup consists of five models, three full-sized and two 3/4-sized. FA-15N 3/4 Nylon is one of the travel options. It rocks nylon strings, electronics-free construction, and short 23.3" scale. The body is made of laminated sapele back & sides and a laminated agathis soundboard. Classical mosaic rosette graces the top. The neck is made of nato and sports the standard 12th fret neck joint. Natural (w/gloss finish, chrome hardware) is the only available color option. Other important features include an 18-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (1.69" syntetic bone nut, 11.8" radius), a fixed rosewood bridge, and open-gear tuners.
