Though mainly concentrated on electric guitars with metal orientation, ESP also features an acoustic section in the catalog. It features few series with acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. EW-P is a model from the Exotic Wood series and it comes with a grand auditorium shaped body with single cutaway construction. It`s back and sides are made of paduk wood, with the top being also made of paduk wood. It is finished in gloss and bound in abalone binding. Pickguard is not on the list of specs. Sound hole is equipped with abalone rosette. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and electronics section features B-Band electret film transducer pickup with T-35 preamp. Set mahogany neck is topped with 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Gold plated hardware and 25-1/2" scale complete the specs list.
