DC-5E is an acoustic-electric model from ESP`s Dreadnought series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. It`s name suggests that it is a dreadnought guitar with single cutaway and electronics installed. Back and side panels on this model are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. Natural, black and tobacco sunburst are color options available on this model and all come with high gloss finish. Natural binding is accompanied with a triple-circle rosette. Pickguard is scratched from the specs list. Bridge is made of rosewood and it comes with a plastic string saddle. Electronics include piezo pickup and 2-band ESP preamp. Neck is made of mahogany and it features U contour. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it sports 20 frets with small dot position inlays.
