Vintage Sunburst
Mandobird VIII is one of two Mandobird models in Epiphone Mandolin series. It is a crossbreed between the Firebird guitar and mandolin. Result is a solid-bodied mandolin with Firebird shape. It`s body is made of mahogany and it does not feature any top wood options. Vintage Sunburst is the only color option available for this model and it comes with gloss finish. Classic Firebird pickguard is installed on top. Bridge section features a fixed bridge with chrome plating. This eight-string Mandobird sports a single coil pickup in the neck position with master volume and master tone control knobs. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a bolt-on joint. It is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 21 frets, dot position inlays and 1.12" synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard.
