Dean catalog features a series dedicated solely to nylon-stringed guitars, it is called Classical series. Espana CS is a model from this series and it comes with a standard classical-shaped body with non-cutaway design. Natural color of the body is wrapped in gloss finish. Back and sides are made of mahogany, while the top is made of cedar. Top panel on this nylon-stringed guitar is bound in natural binding and decorated with an elegant rosette around the sound hole. Traditionally, pickguard is not featured. Bridge section is equipped with a standard shaped bridge made of rosewood. Neck is made of mahogany and it is connected to the body with a dovetail joint at the 12th fret. Rosewood fingerboard sports 18 frets with no position inlays, except the side dot markers.
