SFX series from Cort has a very specific task. It`s mission is to offer the ultimate and the best modern acoustic guitar in the intermediate range. Everything, starting with the custom designed SFX shape is subjected to this ultimate goal. For 2014, SFX line has received only one update, the new and improved version of the hugely popular and successful SFX10 model. This one comes with the standard SFX body with single cutaway design and arched back and side panels. Quilted maple is used for the back and sides, while the top of this gorgeous six-stringer is made of spruce. This combination gives a lot brighter tone and quicker response than the standard mahogany/spruce combo. Body is bound in ivory and the sound hole features the abalone rosette. Rosewood bridge is fit with an under-saddle Fishman Sonicore pickup. On the side of the body, facing the player, Cort installs the Fishman Presys preamp. Neck on this model is made of maple. It`s fit with the series standard contour in the back and rocks the 14th fret dovetail joint. On it`s top, there is a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
