The Gold series is one of Cort`s finest, as well as most expensive lines of acoustic guitars. Currently, the lineup consists of six models, three "6" models and three "8" models. The "sixes" were introduced a while ago as the series` initial lineup. There are three "Eights" - one dread, one auditorium, and one OM model. Gold-A8 is the grand auditorium option. It comes with a Venetian cutaway, all-solid body construction, doublelock neck joint, and walnut-reinforced neck. Key features include pau ferro back & sides, Sitka spruce top, Fishman`s Flex Blend pickup/preamp system, and high-quality hardware. Cort offers this model in Light Sunburst with gloss finish. Other important features include a mahogany neck, 20-fret bound ebony fingerboard, belly-shaped ebony bridge, and deluxe vintage tuning machines.
