Cort`s Earth series is made up of affordable acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars which aim at fans of vintage acoustics. The entire lineup is made of dreadnoughts, and 2016 Earth100MD is no exception. Earth100MD kicks off with a non-cutaway dreadnought body made of Madagascar rosewood and solid sitka spruce. Back and sides are, of course, made of rosewood while the sound board position is reserved for ubiquitous spruce. Black and white binding, abalone rosette and tortoise shell pickguard grace the top. The neck is made of mahogany. It features a standard 14th fret dovetail joint in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Scooped rosewood bridge with black end pins and die-cast tuners complete this affordable dread. There are no electronics assigned to 100MD, it comes completely acoustic.
