AS series is Cort`s flagship line, made for the most discerning players out there. It utilizes the best tonewoods, hardware, and electronics available to Cort. The current lineup is made up of six models - four dreads and two orchestra models. AS-OC4 All Mahogany is one of the orchestras; it comes in with a single-cut body, 25-3/10" scale, and vintage styling. It offers a balanced and even tone, as well as great sustain. Main construction features include solid mahogany back, sides, and top, the standard 14th fret dovetail neck joint, and vintage-style hardware. Open Pore finish, with black binding and tortoiseshell pickguard, is the only available color option. Other notable features include a mahogany neck, a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood or ovangkol, Fishman Sonitone/Sonicore electronics, rosewood/ovangkol bridge, and die-cast tuners.
