R2-C is a part of the Solitaire series in Boulder Creek catalog. This series has many characteristic features with the most prominent one being the offset sound hole. It is moved from it`s usual position to the side of the guitar. Reason for that is the fact that players spend most of their playing time practicing and playing for themselves. Solid/laminate/solid construction is also one of the most important features. Solitaire guitars, including the R2-C are made with solid backs and tops and laminated sides. R2-C has rosewood back and sides and spruce sound board on top. This dreadnought-shaped steel-stringer is equipped with a 20-fret fingerboard with abalone dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide string nut. Hardware is plated in chrome.
