MBCE-24F-G is the top MB model in the Performance series and it comes with a single-cut grand auditorium body. This one is acoustic-electric and it features Fishman electronics. Sonicore preamp is paired with Sonitone pickup to give this model one of the best sounding amplified tones in it`s price class. Body of this auditorium is made of rosewood and cedar. Rosewood is used for the back and side panels, while the cedar is found on top, where it replaces the spruce. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a belly contour. It is customary to make the bridge and fingerboard out of the same wood, but Bedell opts with ebony fingerboard with 20 frets to match it with the rosewood bridge. Mahogany is used for the one-piece neck.
