Masterworks` tier 70 is one of two main tiers featured in the current series` lineup (the other one being 66). 70s of the Masterworks series use the same basic recipe Regent and Artist series use for their 70 models - rosewood/spruce bodies and mahogany/rosewood necks. Masterworks models have solid backs, sides, and tops, as well as one-piece necks. Due to the significantly higher price tags (Masterworks models generally cost over $1,000), Masterworks models have more elegant styling which includes abalone rosettes, paua abalone headstock inlays, and gold-plated tuning machines. MDA70CE is a single-cut dreadnought guitar made with an all-solid body, rounded neck (attached at the 14th fret), 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, LR Baggs electronics, die-cast tuners, rosewood bridge (w/ebony pins, bone saddle), and forward-shifted bracing system.
