AF30CE is an acoustic-electric folk guitar made by Alvarez. It belongs to the most affordable tier (30) of the popular Artist line, the brand`s biggest and most versatile series. MSRP is set at $449, with Natural being the model`s only color option (models of the 60 tier sometimes have the Shadowburst option, along with the standard Natural). Despite its super low price, AF30CE (like all Artist models) sports a solid top (grade A Sitka spruce top). FST2M (forward-shifted scalloped X) bracing sits under the top. Back and sides are made of mahogany, as is the neck (14th fret dovetail joint, rounded contour, gloss finish). 21-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.75" bone string nut, dot inlays, 24-13/16" scale), stock electronics (SYS250), and rosewood bridge (Alvarez profile) complete the specs list.
