BR3-N5 belongs to the line of acoustic-electric bass guitars made by Boulder Creek Guitars. This line currently has twelve models. They come in four and five string variants, as well as fretted and fretless. These basses are based on Solitaire series concept and feature two sound hole, as well as the suspended bracing system. Body of BR3-N5 follows the solitaire tradition and features solid mahogany in the back, laminated mahogany on the sides and solid cedar on the top. Body is decorated with elegant abalone binding and frontal sound hole has an abalone rosette. Electronics include AB4-T preamp with built-in chromatic tuner, which is installed on the side of the body. Fingerboard has 21 frets with abalone dot inlays. String nut is 1.75" wide.
