acoustic basses are usually made with jumbo shaped bodies and that is the case with Alvarez AB4102. This is so common practice that it is hard to come across an acoustic bass with some other body contour. Of course, exceptions exist. Jumbo is the most logical choice due to it`s size and length of the bass scale. This particular bass has full 34" scale and it`s body is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Fishman Aero+ system is featured in the electronics area and it gives tremendous quality to the amplified tone of this bass. Bridge is made of rosewood and sports bass variant of Alvarez Mustache bridge. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports a 22 fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
