like a les Paul double cutaway. lots of inlay work. brown stain is very dark. hum buckers aren't bad - I won't be changing them coil tap gives some single coil like tones. only gripe is that the body is weight-relieved to the point that the head end of the guitar is heavier and drops when your not holding the neck up. (action on the fingerboard is good) tuners are good enough that I won't be changing them out either

I love this guitar. I've never been much of an electric fan, I prefer Acoustics but this guy sounds so great and it's so easy to play because the action is low, I put on a new set of light D'Addario's and made some really sweet sounds though my VOX tube amp. I fell in love instantly. I've since started learning Jazz because of this great guitar. I believe it will be a long happy relationship. I've named it Louis!

This guitar has a beautiful appearance and finish. It plays well, but is about the level of quality you'd expect for this price point. If you have played a large range of guitars, you know that there are some that are solid, beautifully crafted, heirloom quality instruments, and others that are very playable and enjoyable enough, but not awe inspiring like the expensive items. I have no complaints, this is a nice one, but it is a superb example of "you get what you pay for". In other words, don't expect a hand-crafted, top-quality Custom Shop Gibson or Fender item for this price, but for an assembly-line piece, it is very well done.
