Make it Count with 2012 NAMM Show

Placed in Anaheim, California, at the Anaheim Convention Center, worlds largest and most influential music trade show is about to open it`s gates.

NAMM Show is the world`s biggest music trade show held every January in Anaheim, California, at the Anaheim Convention Center. It has been held every January in Anaheim, California since it`s inception in 1901. The only peer considering size and importance is the Musik Messe held in Frankfurt. NAMM Show is strictly professional in orientation as it is a trade-only show where manufacturers, retailers, resellers and affiliates come to exhibit their new products, buy, sell and negotiate the deals for the year ahead. The show itself lasts for four days and takes place across several exhibition halls. It also features various music and business workshops and educational seminars for people involved in music industry. These events are supported by a large number of concerts and music performances which are selected to represent what is new and hot in the industry.

2012 NAMM Show is held under the slogan "Make it Count" and boasts an impressive number of 1,417 exhibiting companies from 90 countries. It starts January 19th and closes January 22nd. The exhibition booths are spread across the main Arena and six halls named A, B, C, D, E and Marriot. The gates are open Thursday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. 90,114 registered participants will attend this year`s show`s exhibitions and events. During the four days of the show numerous music and business events, seminars and workshops will be held covering everything from what is hot and new in the industry, to business coaching and improvement, to legal issues and problems, to industry future. In addition to the NAMM Show, the annual Summer NAMM is held every July. This year`s Summer NAMM will be held in Nashville, Tennessee July 12-14 and it will be, as all Summer NAMM shows are, oriented more towards the industry and business courses, than on trade.
