Schecter`s Summer 2015 Updates

The wacky Cheech & Chong signature guitar and the serious California Vintage series are the latest novelties in Schecter`s catalog.

The latest wave of Schecter updates strikes on two fronts, bringing something for the fans of the California Vintage series and something for the fans of Cheech & Chong and their fictional Alice Bowie Band. California Vintage series has got four new models with refreshed styling and improved tone. PT Standard and PT Custom form the Telecaster side of the lineup, while the Traditional Standard and Traditional Custom represent the Strat side. All four come with 21-fret fingerboards, powerful Schecter Diamond pickups and under $600 price tags. Cheech and Chong Alice Bowie Guitar, on the other hand, comes with a wild paint job, super simple construction and a single Schecter Diamond humbucker.

California Vintage PT Custom is a single-cut Telecaster guitar with swamp ash/flamed maple body and a bolt-on maple neck. Schecter`s own Diamond Plus humbuckers form the pickups combo and give a muscular, vintage oriented tone. 21-fret fingerboard, hardtail bridge and Schecter tuners are also there. California Vintage PT Standard is basically the classic Telecaster guitar with two single-coil pickups (these are also Schecter-made), tray bridge with three brass saddles and C-shaped maple neck.
