Ibanez has unveiled a huge bass lineup at this year`s NAMM.

With forty two models in its ranks, Ibanez bass lineup was considerably bigger than the guitar lineup. Talman, SR and new Artcore Vintage lines took the spotlights.

 Usually, electric guitars make up the majority of introduced novelties at NAMM. Usually. But, Ibanez is used to breaking both rules and traditions. This time around, there were thirty one solid-bodied guitars and eight hollow bodies, which adds up to a total of thirty nine electric guitars. On the other hand, thirty eight solid-bodied plus three hollow-bodied models add up to a total of forty two electric basses. Ibanez lineup featured three signature models: Mike D`Antonio`s MDB4, Adam Nitti`s ANB306E and Gary Willis` GSW205E. They`re followed by Ibanez Bass Workshop beast named SRSC805. Premium tier of the legendary Sound Gear series was updated with seven models: SR1900E, SR1905E, SR1400E, SR1405E, SR1300E, SR1305E and SR1306E. Standard SR has received a contingent of eighteen models: SR800, SR500, SR505, SR400EQM, SR405EQM, SR406EQM, SR400EBCW, SR405EBCW, SR406EBCW, SR370E, SR375E, SR370EF, SR375EF, SR300E, SR00EL, SR305E, SR300EB, SR305EB and SR306EB. New BTB models were BTB1605E and BTB1606E. The new Talman Prestige started off with one model: TMB2000. Standard Talman line was revitalized with sex models: TMB600, TMB605, TMB100, TMB100L, TMB105 and TMB30. Also new, Artcore Vintage Bass kicked off with three models: AFBV200A, AGBV200A and AGBV205A. The only GIO model was GSR200BL.

Ibanez MDB4 is the fourth signature model made for Mike D` Antonio. This time, it is an Explorer-shaped four-stringer with a full-length scale (34”), Seymour Duncan electronics, Ibanez hardware and custom fingerboard inlays. Ibanez ANB306E is an affordable version of Adam`s previous signature models.
