Jackson introduces eleven beauties with beastly tone into the acclaimed Pro series.

NAMM 2015: Jackson Pro Series Revs Up for 2015!

A jaw dropping display of power and beauty in the new Pro series lineup is bound to cause seismic changes in the intermediate and upper intermediate classes of the market.

Made for the aspiring metalheads and shredders around the world, Pro series offers considerably more than its affordable counterparts. While the X, and especially JS, function around a certain number of compromises between the looks, materials and tone, Pro series is the lowest Jackson tier where the looks get a really significant amount of attention. Performance and playability-wise, Pro range is in the league with the best market has to offer, featuring some of the fastest necks, and best pickups available. For 2015, Jackson has introduced eleven models into the series ranks, with eight of them belonging to the legendary Dinky family. Aside from the Dinky eight, new Pro series also includes one King V, one Rhoads V and one Soloist. With Pro Dinky DK2 HT, Pro Dinky DK2Q HT, Pro Dinky DK2QM HT, Pro Dinky DK2QM, Pro Dinky DK2Q, Pro Dinky DK2, Pro Dinky DK2M, Pro Soloist SL2, Pro Dinky DK2RMG-M, Pro Rhoads RR and Pro King V KV, Pro range is revitalized, infused with the fresh blood and ready to wreak havoc on the competition.

The pole position among the eleven-piece line of new Pro series axes belongs to the Pro Dinky DK2 HT. It is a hardtail, six-string Dinky with the well-known Dinky design, and a huge tone. Alder body and maple neck form the classic Jackson base for the hellish Seymour Duncan pair of humbuckers – JB is in the bridge and `59 in the neck. For further info and a more comprehensive review, check the Dinky DK2 HT detail page on our site or Jackson Guitars official web page.

Sharing the first starting row on the grid, Pro Dinky DK2Q HT wheels in at the second position. Differences between the first row models are mostly cosmetic, as DK2Q HT features an ebony fingerboard instead of the maple one, and a quilted maple cap on the top of the body. Construction-wise DK2 HT is a neck-through guitar, while the DK2Q HT rocks the classic Dinky bolt-on construction. Jackson Pro Dinky DK2Q HT

Pro Dinky DK2QM HT concludes the trio of the hardtail Dinky models in 2015 lineup. Besides the standard construction and electronics appointments, this excellent six-string also features the new Chlorine Burst color scheme against black hardware and bound maple fingerboard. Duncan`s JB and `59 combo is still there, as is the fast maple neck with bolt-on joint. Beneath the quilt top, Jackson still utilizes the tested and tried solid alder body. Starting the sequence of five Floyd Rose-equipped Dinky axes, Pro Dinky DK2QM brings thunder and lightning packed into zebra-coiled Seymour Duncan JB and `59 humbuckers (JB is in the bridge and `59 in the neck position, of course). Alder/quilt maple body combination, bolted maple neck and a 24-fret maple fingerboard are also there. For further info and a more comprehensive review, check the Dinky DK2QM detail page on our site or Jackson Guitars official web page.

With an ebony fingerboard, Pro Series Dinky DK2QM drops the M from the name and becomes Pro Dinky DK2Q. Transparent Red and Tobacco Burst give this mind-blowing axe a mysterious and dark aura. Floyd Rose bridge, zebra-coiled Seymour Dunacans (series standard JB/`59 pair), alder/quilt maple body and the bolt-on maple neck with a classic speed contour are also there. For further info and a more comprehensive review, check the Dinky DK2Q detail page on our site or Jackson Guitars official web page.

Jackson Pro Dinky DK2Q

A short name, simple specs and ubiquitous tone characterize the deadly Pro Dinky DK2. Seymour Duncan JB and `59 bring a thunderous tone, while the slim maple neck and 24-fret ebony fingerboard allow the faster-than-lightning speed. Clean-cut and simple specs list also includes an alder body, Floyd Rose tremolo bridge and the classic downward-pointed headstock with in-line tuners. For further info and a more comprehensive review, check the Dinky DK2 detail page on our site or Jackson Guitars official web page.

Matte Army Drab and Metallic Blue are color options reserved for the DK2`s maple fingerboard alternative – Pro Dinky DK2M. As all Floyd Rose-equipped Dinky axes in the lineup, it rocks the zebra-coiled versions of the mandatory JB and `59 humbuckers. Also, the aldr body, bolted maple neck and the original Floyd Rose bridge follow the series standards. For further info and a more comprehensive review, check the Dinky DK2M detail page on our site or Jackson Guitars official web page.

The only Soloist model in 2015 lineup is the elegant and razor sharp Pro Soloist SL2. It comes with a solid alder body with through-body maple neck, original Floyd Rose bridge with a locking nut, Seymour Duncan Distortion Mayhem pickups in both the bridge and neck, and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. For further info and a more comprehensive review, check the Soloist SL2 detail page on our site or Jackson Guitars official web page.

Jackson Pro Soloist SL2

The last Dinky in the lineup, Pro Dinky DK2RMG-M, breaks away from the series standards, featuring EMG`s 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck position. This change aims at, and offers an alternative to the players who prefer their guitar pickups active. Alder body, bolted maple neck, 24-fret maple fingerboard and the standard hardware appointments put this model right next to the rest of the Dinky models. For further info and a more comprehensive review, check the Dinky DK2RMG-M detail page on our site or Jackson Guitars official web page.

The only representative of the Rhoads family, the black-clad Pro Rhoads RR comes with a beveled alder body, exceptionally fast maple neck and chrome-plated hardware (this includes the triangular pickguard, as well as the control knobs). Seymour Duncan Distortion Mayhem pickups prove the Latin proverb “nomen est omen” as they deliver an unreal amount of ferocity and aggression. 22-fret ebony fingerboard is the Rhoads standard. The review section wraps up with the inspection of the regal Pro King V KV. This symmetrical V rocks the neck-through-body construction with alder on the wings and maple neck running through the middle. Seymour Duncan`s Mayhem pickups deliver all the power and sustain a six-string axe could ever need. Also, it features the Floyd Rose bridge, 24-fret ebony fingerboard and the locking tuners.
