Fender Introduces the Amazing Top Hat Resonator

All the resonator fans around the world rejoice! Fender unveils the Top Hat Resonator. It`s loud, it`s stylish and a high quality instrument with a very low price tag.

Fender`s entire history is woven with staggering examples of successful blending of the seemingly opposite sides. First and foremost, in the late 1940s not many believed in the marriage of guitar and electricity, but Leo Fender and his team believed and in 1950 Esquire was introduced. Some sixty four years later, solid-bodied electrics still rule the scene. In the 1960s, Fender stunned the competition with California acoustics with electric guitar necks. After that, In the `70s Telecaster got the Thinline treatment, rocking a semi-hollow body and a pair of humbuckers. Later, towards the end of the decade and in the early 1980s, Strat became the first proper heavy metal guitar, though Leo Fender envisioned it as a guitar aimed primarily at country players who wanted to swap their chunky acoustics for something sleeker and more convenient. In the `90s and `00s, Fender managed to blend the rich tradition with modern player`s expectations yet again. Today, the resonator lovers have a big reason to rejoice, as Fender blends the vintage resonator construction and design with classic Telecaster neck and headstock on the brand new Top Hat Resonator. This is a sleek, powerful and very affordable resonator with a price tag set at surprising $349.99.

Fender Top Hat Resonator is a fully hollow and fully acoustic guitar which blends the classic Resonator and Telecaster features into an affordable and very sophisticated six-stringer. This non-cutaway resonator is made of laminated mahogany back and sides with a laminated maple sound board. Supremely elegant black color with satin finish, aged white binding and nickel hardware is the only color option. Mahogany neck is fit with a classic C contour and has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Telecaster headstock is also there.
