Brand New Epiphone Masterbilt Century Series

Take a look at the newly established Masterbilt Century line.

Brand New Epiphone Masterbilt Century Series

Epiphone`s Masterbilt Century collection was made for both the lovers of the original archtops as well as modern players dissatisfied with what ordinary flat-tops offer.

Back in 1930s, archtop acoustics ruled the scene and Epiphone was one of the premier guitar brands, even rivaling the likes of Martin, Washburn and Gibson. Today, some eighty years later, Epiphone is reviving the Golden Age archtop guitar, but with a modern twist. Looks, tone and construction were left untouched. Even the hardware and decorations follow the original. The secret`s hidden beneath the saddle and within the sound hole. Shadow NanoFlex pickup and eSonic HD preamp form the discreet, yet very powerful electronics unit. There are five models in the series` initial lineup: De Luxe, De Luxe Classic, Zenith, Zenith Classic and Olympic. De Luxe models are the largest, Zeniths rock intermediate-sized bodies, while the Olympic is the smallest one. De Luxe models cost $899, Zeniths go for $739, while the Olympic`s price tag reads $599.

Epiphone Masterbilt Century De Luxe is a modern/vintage archtop guitar with acoustic-electric construction, vintage styling and modern electronics. It is, along with De Luxe Classic, the biggest model in the series` lineup. Two color options are available – Vintage Natural and Vintage Sunburst. Both feature aged finish and hardware. For more info and complete specs list, check the De Luxe detail page on our site or Epiphone`s official web page.

Epiphone Masterbilt Century De Luxe

Epiphone Masterbilt Century De Luxe Classic is one of two full-sized archtop models, featured in the series` lineup. It rocks the same specs list as the regular De Luxe model save for some minor stylistic differences, most notably the dual “f” holes instead of the circular soundhole. For more info and complete specs list, check the De Luxe Classic detail page on our site or Epiphone`s official web page.

Epiphone Masterbilt Century Zenith is one of two medium-sized models on the roster, being made for players who like compact-sized guitars but also want big sound. Like the rest of the models (except Olympic), it comes in Vintage Natural and Vintage Sunburst. Shadow/eSonic electronics, Epiphone hardware and vintage styling & construction are all there. For more info and complete specs list, check the Zenith detail page on our site or Epiphone`s official web page.

Epiphone Masterbilt Century Zenith

Epiphone Masterbilt Century Zenith Classic is an acoustic/electric archtop guitar, with a medium-sized body and big, rich, top-heavy tone. It was inspired by Epiphone`s own 1930s archtop models, which were on the par with Gibsons, Washburns and Martins of the time. Vintage Natural and Vintage Sunburst options are available. For more info and complete specs list, check the Zenith Classic detail page on our site or Epiphone`s official web page.

Epiphone Masterbilt Century Olympic is the smallest of five models which make up the series` lineup. It offers the same set of features and specs as its bigger siblings, save for the color palette. Honeyburst and Violin Burst replace the standard dup. Shadow/eSonic electronics, Epiphone hardware and standard tonewoods selection are still there. For more info and complete specs list, check the Olympic detail page on our site or Epiphone`s official web page.
