Peavey organizes a contest for all guitar players out there who are fans of Iron Man, Stan Lee and Peavey Guitars.
Peavey has made a fantastic move with the introduction of the super affordable line of electric and acousutic guitars based on Marvel`s super heroes. This move has introduced the world of guitar to younger population, but has also created a new army of older fans who grew up on Marvel`s comics. Spider Man, Wolverine, Iron Man, Thor and other legendary characters can be found depicted on affordable Peavey electrics and acoustics. This time around, the spotlight is on one and only Iron Man. The contest Peavey has organized this time has the Peavey Rockmaster with Iron Man custom graphic as it`s main prize. The contest is open until 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. The results will be published on Friday, January 10, 2014. There will be no runner up prizes in this contest. Legal residents of United States, Canada, Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Holland, Belgium, and Luxemburg of all ages can participate. Peavey Rockmaster is a solid-bodied electric guitar with bolted neck, double-cut body design, simple electronics layout and Marvel-themed custom graphics paint job. Body is made of basswood and it features the flat-top design. Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Wolverine, Spider Man and other custom graphics are painted onto the black base. Hardware is plated in chrome. Hardtail bridge has string-through construction and it`s fronted by a bridge-position humbucker pickup. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it features the series standard contour in the back. 21-fret fingerboard on it`s top is made of rosewood.
