WI 556 is Original Idol`s heavy metal solution. It comes loaded with all one metal axe should have, strong pickups, locking bridge and 24 frets. Washburn makes all models of the Idol range, WI 556 included, with solid and single-cut bodies reminiscent of the iconic Les Paul design. WI 556 body is made completely of mahogany, both the solid back and carved top. Metallic Green is the main color option assigned to this riff monster. Double-locking tremolo bridge is accompanied by Buzz Feiten tuning system. Pickups department on this model contains the mighty EMG 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck position. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it`s set in. 24-fret fingerboard on it`s top is made of carbon glass epoxy.
