WI 45 is an intermediate option in the Idol sub-series of the Idol segment. It comes with a classic single-cut body with solid construction and standard Washburn styling. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and plain maple top. The top is carved and bound in elegant creme binding. Top, sides, back of the body and back of the neck are all finished in high gloss. Black and White variants of this model are offered by Washburn. Both of them feature black hardware. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with a stoptail bar in the bridge section. Electronics department sports two passive humbuckers, two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
