PX-Solar 16DLXC is one of eight models Washburn has introduced into the newly formed Ola Englund signature series. It is made and sold through the super modern Parallaxe division of the Washburn Guitars. As all other models of this series, 16DLXC is a metal-oriented axe with passive electronics, 24-fret fingerboard, super fast neck and alder/maple combination of tonewoods. Alder is used for the solid and double-cut body with the original design by Ola himself. Maple is, on the other side, used for the neck. 16DLXC is also one of seven models which comes clad in black with black hardware and matte finish. Bridge is the famous Evertune with six saddles and string-through construction. It is among the most popular fixed bridges around, as it boasts an unbelievable level of tuning stability. It is matched with a set of Grovers on the other end. Seymour Duncan pickups are passive and come in the classic H/H pattern. Simple controls unit is made up of a master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. Maple neck is fast, sleek and pretty slim. On it`s top, there is a 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
