Jazz Series Electric Guitar by 'Washburn'
Jazz series in Washburn`s catalog belongs to the Hollowbodies segment. It deals with hollow electric guitars with vintage styling and tone. J5 is one of the models from this series. It has a single-cut body made of maple. Vintage treatment on this jazzy six-stringer includes creme binding around both the top and back, bound "f" holes, elevated plastic pickguard and gold-plated hardware. Only the Vintage Sunburst is assigned to the J5`s color palette. It is finished in high gloss. J5 has a two-piece bridge section. Rosewood bridge is fixed in the front, while the "W"-shaped tailpiece sits in the back. Two active humbuckers are controlled with series standard set of knobs and switches. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
