Vox 55 series is dedicated to the production of the solid-bodied guitars which compete in the upper intermediate section of the market. These 55 axes are upscale variants of the affordable 33 series models. 55 also features single and double-cut model. They`re practically identical and differ only in appearance. Mahogany body is solid and can be topped with three different top options. Ash top comes with it`s own two color schemes, plain maple also has two color variants and flamed maple is offered with four. Gloss finish and chrome hardware wrap the picture. SDC 55 comes with a brand-wide standard set of hardware, which includes a hardtail bridge and CoAxe pickups. Neck is also a standard one, it`s made of mahogany and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
