V52 and V62 are Icon series` only Telecaster-shaped models, with the remainder of the lineup divided mostly between Strat and Les Paul-inspired axes. Also, there`s one SG-based model, the VS6. All models rock Wilkinson hardware and electronics and were designed by Trev Wilkinson.
V52 Icon is Vintage`s rendition of the cult 1952 Telecaster. It offers some of the best classic rock/blues tones in the sub-$1,000 class, as well as fantastic playability and construction quality. The color palette is limited to Butterscotch (w/worn paint, distressed hardware, and aged plastic parts).
Key construction features include a solid alder body (w/vintage black pickguard), bolt-on maple neck (C-profile), 22-fret maple fingerboard (25-1/2" scale, dot inlays), Tele-style bridge, Wilkinson single-coil pickups, and Wilkinson tuning machines.
